Virtual & In-Person Availability
Travel Fees: In-home services are subject to a $25 fee per 30 minutes of round-trip travel time. Travel fees will be confirmed before your appointment is scheduled.
After Your Consultation
Some families have everything they need after the consultation. Others benefit from ongoing support. Some services can be booked online; others are planned together as part of your child’s care and billed to the card on file in your client portal.

For children with multiple providers involved in their care, coordinating with your child’s broader medical team is often an important part of treatment. Virtual care team meetings are available at $75 per 30 minutes; the total depends on how many meetings are needed and how long they run.

Is the consultation virtual or in person?
Either. Virtual consultations are available to families throughout New York State, and parent consulting is available worldwide. In-home visits are available in Astoria and surrounding areas, based on availability, with a travel fee of $25 per 30 minutes of round-trip travel time, confirmed before your appointment is scheduled.
How soon can we start?
Consultations are typically scheduled within 1–3 weeks of booking, depending on availability. During busier periods it may take a little longer, and we’ll always let you know the expected timing. Argie will call you to schedule once she has reviewed your intake forms.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel or reschedule free of charge with more than 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice have a $50 late-cancellation fee, and the session can be rescheduled. Missed appointments, or arriving more than 10 minutes late without contacting us, are charged the full session fee (or the session is counted as used for prepaid services). If your child is unwell, an in-person session can be switched to virtual at no charge, and your first late-cancellation fee is waived once for sudden illness or emergencies.
Do you take insurance?
Kids Feeding Wellness is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance directly. Superbills are available on request for eligible services, which you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Coverage depends on your plan and isn’t guaranteed. Can I reach Argie between sessions?
Yes. Brief questions by email or secure message are welcome and are typically answered within 24–48 business hours. Email and messaging aren’t monitored for emergencies.
